The City Winery Open festival that Gillian was scheduled to perform at on September 18th is being postponed to next year. At this time, Gillian is not currently scheduled to be at 2017’s event. Note from the promoter below:
We so appreciate your interest in the City Winery Open. It is with regret that we inform you that the CW Open has been postponed a year to Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, 2017. While we have received countless emails and calls from you, expressing your enthusiasm for the event, the line up of incredible artists, the food provided by celebrated chefs and the world-class array of wines we look to offer the public, we needed much more time to fully produce an event of this magnitude.
We sincerely apologize for the pre-mature and unprepared enthusiasm that fueled going on sale with this unprecedented festival. We really want the first year to be a huge success and just need the additional time to make it work correctly.
Please know that you will receive a full ticket refund from our ticketing partners at Ticketfly. As an additional bonus, we are sending you a coupon for a glass of wine at City Winery or City Vineyard, good for use anytime between now and Labor Day. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience posed by this postponement and we hope that you will consider joining us for the 2017 CW Open.

We have lost another pillar of the music world… Ralph Stanley passed away yesterday. He is the reason I do what I do. The day he asked me to sing with him I felt I had made it. Now he is gone. Rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jimmie and the rest of the family.

We are so saddened by the loss of Guy Clark yesterday. The world has lost one of its great observers and souls. Guy was one of my most vocal, and inebriated, supporters when I moved to Nashville. He used to recite my lyrics aloud at dinner parties and barrooms to people who said they had never heard of me. He took Dave and I out on the road with him for our first tour through Texas, where I learned more than I could ever say. I could never thank him enough for his support and his artistry. Thank god for all his beautiful songs and recordings, for I don’t know what I would do if I could never hear his voice again. I love you Guy.
Gill and Dave will be playing duo shows this June in Bowling Green and Lexington, on their way out to the Nelsonville Music Festival in OH. Tickets on sale Friday! Ticket links and more info on the Tour Page.
